The main brief of this project was to ensure views of the beautiful Swan river were maximised. To achieve this and to ensure the flow between indoors and outdoors and easy access to alfresco terraces and balconies each apartment features a number of high performance sliding doors with floor to ceiling glazing surrounds. The Series 704 SlideMASTER with its strong robust profiles was the ideal choice adding to the aesthetics of the building. Use of a mitred glazing detail at each 90 degree corner ensured the stunning river views were not interrupted. Sashless glazing was incorporated in each unit to ensure ventilation options even when the doors in the apartment are closed, providing the ultimate internal comfort level at the same time avoiding any intrusive horizontal sash rails.
Due to the location and elevations the window and doors were required to be high performance and highly durable to ensure they were able to stand the test of time with little maintenance. From the initial stages Britone provided technical support and advice on the glazing requirements.
Throughout the project our experts worked extensively with the client measuring, manufacturing and installing all units on cue to ensure the project requirements and deadlines were continuously met.
